We chose to have our wedding here almost two years ago and unfortunately due to Covid it had to be changed multiple times including the dates, amounts of people attending, food etc and Backworth calmly accommodated for us every time. Helen is a real asset to the Hall, nothing was ever a problem for her, she ensured the day ran smoothly including having us two brides make it down the aisle without seeing eachother beforehand. We also would recommend Dean the chef highly, he came up with an amazing fully vegan menu for us to choose from, on the day it was absolutely delicious and was devoured by all the guests including the meat eaters! We cannot recommend Backworth and all their staff highly enough, we had a fantastic day and so did our guests, we would recommend any couples to consider it for their big day!

We had our wedding at Backworth Hall. We had an exceptional experience.
The staff were fantastic and attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely first class from starters to desserts when we had the sit down meal. The evening buffet was also second to none.
Every one of our guests complimented the venue, the food and all the staff.
We enjoyed the whole day so much that we will be booking upcoming events there as well.

5 stars all round. We chose Backworth hall as it is a hidden treasure with beautiful building and fantastic grounds. We live so close and never knew it was there. Perfect! And fantastic value!!!the cost as well as beauty had to be our priority with having a young family. John and his team created the most amazing day for everyone. We booked our date 2 years in advance and John was always available to help us. We chose our meal and he insisted we went for a tasting. Well.. all the meals were beautiful!! And was always willing to accommodate and never felt a nuisance or rushed. The meal was beautiful. All of our guests sent their complimemts to the chef, the full team and John for being a proffessional gent through out! We will visit regular for a sunday lunch now. Already booked a day! We decided to book Backworth Hall for our wedding when we fell in love with the beautiful grounds and staircase. Helen was amazing from the start and guided us through all the things we had to think about to plan our wedding at the venue and was on call to answer any questions we had throughout the planning. 
On our day everything was planned and timed perfectly and the service throughout the meal was exceptional.The chef was brilliant and all of our guests commented on how fantastic the food was. Cant fault the bar staff and Craig went above and beyond to get us sorted with taxi's at the end of the night. Can't recommend this venue enough.

Just recently had our wedding at this venue! We are so glad we chose Backworth Hall. A beautiful place, picture perfect grounds and polite staff. Food for our wedding meal was AMAZING! Couldnt fault anything. Will be returning for occasional food and drinks, reliving our perfect day.
Anyone thinking of having your wedding here, don't give it a 2nd thought! You wont regret it! x

We had our wedding reception in 2016 and cannot really express just how amazing everything was! The venue looked beautiful, the food was out of this world and the day ran completely seamless thanks to the whole team so much so we have recommended and will continue to recommend Backworth Hall to anyone looking for a venue 😊
